OMG, what have I done?!?!?

my first post, allowing me join here , pick brains, ask dumb questions , nuisance!

so, after years , years of doing pc thing , burning out hard drives, swearing @ blue screens, cursing horrible updates, have decided jump "other side" , picked myself imac following specs:

• 3.0ghz quad-core 7th-generation intel core i5 processor, turbo boost 3.5ghz
• 16gb 2400mhz ddr4
• 1tb fusion drive
• radeon pro 555 2gb video memory
• magic mouse 2
• magic keyboard - english

not doing hardcore stuff, web surfing, paying bills, music editing (hopefully audacity work mac???) no real gaming or heavy video stuff. wondering people think of setup? have been dedicated iphone/ipad user years hope transition relatively painless! 1 thing wonder there 3 of using this, there way setup 3 separate accounts 3 separate login/passwords?

set unit.

yes audacity works mac.

pc never go back.
there learning curve not hard.

yes can have many accounts.
done via, preferences - users

may create other users there.
