Apple or John Lewis


looking purchase first apple watch tomorrow. going aluminium , add apple care @ stage (within 60 days).

there benefit purchasing @ either apple or john lewis? or not matter @ all?

i buy apple products apple direct. recent aw3 purchase jl though. reasons had john lewis vouchers (coincidently £650...same ss aw3!) , can order (before 7pm) collection tomorrow...my nearest jl store 2 miles, apple store 40 miles. collect avios points , there jl promo 4 £1 , apple on 2 £1.

jl give 2 year warranty , £29 apparently can equivalent of applecare+, though didn't see , purchased applecare+ apple day got watch. imo swings , roundabouts, jl have returns policy , apple put applecare+ on if need it.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
