Redesigned Macbook 12” in 2019?


how probable that? guess come lpddr4 & 4-core low power processor
 

does intel or amd have in road map quad core options efficient enough macbook's tiny battery, , run cool enough it's not adding more cpu getting virtually no real-world gains due thermal throttling?

think there possible chance see macbook featuring own in-house designed arm soc 2019...well let's if not 2020-2021 (potentially using coprocessor design, depending on new features apple may want bring rmb). such architecture shift huge undertaking, think apple can do. further, 6 core design of a11 bionic demonstrating incredible power considering efficiency...the multicore performance of a11 bionic ridiculous! having higher efficiency , higher power cores on system macbook makes lot of sense me, limited understanding of architectures.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
