2016 Macbook Pro Monitor Suggestion

since i've purchased 2016 15" mbp refurbished in may, have been looking pair monitor main desk @ home. there seems little in terms of new monitors usb-c/thunderbolt3 capability work touchbar mbps.

little uses: work professionally editor edit photos in free time. gaming not priority me right not bothered high refresh rates. of now, looking @ lg 32ud99-w, lg ultrafine 5k, , lg 27ud88-w options, , cannot life of me decide has pros relative cons.

reading through lot of threads, people worry scaling issues of 27ud88-w , random bugs associated ultrafine 5ks in terms of random flicker. 32 seems option, worry it's big resolution. cost of course factor well, using partly work when i'm not in office (and plan on keeping while) don't mind spending bit more increase longevity.

1 think i'm on right track here and/or care offer more advice? know of new offerings coming down pipeline may suit needs?

i'll offer mine.

don't limit displays usb-c (and charging capabilities).

instead, 4k display .... period.

there quite few of them out there.

let display be... good display.

worry charging , usb-c elsewhere.

that's my advice.
