AppleCare exp 10/27 for 11/3 iPhone X


i received applecare agreement number in email morning iphone x. expiration date 10/27/2019. wrong. official launch tomorrow, , won’t have phone until tomorrow. apple has imho fraudulently stolen week of coverage me.

else? has happened in past?

i’m going open case apple. it’s not right.

under apple support, there category applecare. there option update purchase date.

tried it, , won’t let me because phone isn’t active yet. i’m guessing date automatically update when activate phone.

may false alarm.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
