Buying advice for web developer student - Looking at MacBook Pros 15" from 2012-2015

so have 2011 mbp that's 11 inches use primary laptop want upgrade larger display. i've been getting web development , while 11" mba awesome tiny screen isnt great coding. (and i'll going classroom student external monitor isnt option).

want prioritize easy hardware upgrades , speed overall. won't doing super graphically intense gaming. web development, graphic design , sort of thing. want screen, want @ retina displays.

i'd replace hard drive ssd , upgrade ram, if possible (i know models apple has made hard).

budget around $750. im getting confused doing sorts of googling , research on different models (i started looking @ 2012 15" mbps)... years , models should looking @ , why?

agree screen size important factor. wait until out in world , start making serious money before move on mbpr 15.
