Devices won't Backup and Backups Disappearing
in preparation new iphone, decided backup old iphone computer restore backup. iphone has never been backed up. when tried backup, kept getting error saying "error occurred" , backup wouldn't complete. when got new iphone, didn't want start new, backed old iphone cloud , restored new iphone cloud backup. again, i'm trying backup new iphone computer. backup seems go through , don't error, under latest backup, it's saying "your iphone has never been backed computer".
have ipad backed computer decided see if , seems backing up, says, "your ipad has never been backed computer". before tried of these backups today, looked in preferences see backups have , prior ipad backups showing, after trying backup ipad , iphone, prior backups gone. don't know , tried searching online solutions, can't seem find any.
can't see issues being devices i'm having problem both devices. use external hard drive because use work laptop, windows.
