iPhone X How to Get HDR Content on iPhone X / iPad Pro 2017?


ok -- have looked on , can't find definitive answer question. if buy hdr movie itunes, know can stream down directly apple , play in hdr on iphone x , ipad pro 2017.

suppose want download movie in hdr format onto devices, don't have stream them anymore? know can directly apple -- question is, can *also* via itunes on mac? if download movie mac (using itunes) , sync movie via lightning cable iphone x or ipad pro 2017, synced copy of movie hdr?
 

you can download @ 1080p , stream @ 4k. don’t believe 1080p version has hdr.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
