Find my iPhone won't locate my Macbook


hi everyone!

first of all, i'm sorry if posting on wrong place.

macbook got stolen last weekend, , have logged in find iphone , requested remote lock , remote sound reproduction. both happened next day, , went straight browser check located. shows offline, no last location. why happening? thought turned on , connected internet show last location!

thank you!
 

the thing can think of whatever reason mac online did not have location data send, thief using ethernet instead of wifi. on macbook, seems unlikely.

signature makes me sad. :(

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
