Have two iPhone X’s with different brightness levels/shades and bottom icon bar. Help!


i lucky enough have 2 iphone xs, 1 personal, other work. got 1 work yesterday , on different carrier (att) personal 1 (verizon). noticed right away brightness levels different despite having same settings on both. 1 more cool toned other. icon bar @ bottom of screen has different, more opaque background. going on? want them same. don’t make difference, phone space grey , work phone silver.

is reduce motion toggled on 1 of them?

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
