Cracked screen on X. Are they repairing or replacing in store?

hi all.

i've cracked screen on x after 2 weeks!!!!! fault decided go super minimalist case , dropped 3 feet on asphalt.

have applecare+ wondering if doing screen replacements in store yet or have swap out new one. crack isn't bad i'm not in big rush. if replacing phone i'll go ahead , make genius appointment (assuming have replacement in stock). if not i'll wait month or , let them practice on other people's phones first.

i’d use app , ask express replacement shipped out. pay front refund once receive broken phone back. meanwhile you’ve got th replacement 2 days later
