Emoji Skin Color Select Pop up

i posted in ios forum maybe phone issue. have iphone x.
i think iphone did on 11.1.2 11.2 when open keyboard in message/twitter/etc , go click on hand emoji send it, thumbs example, skin color selector pops on first tap , stays there until pick 1 instead of popping when long press. happens on first click of after keyboard opens.

else having happen, know if it’s bug or know way stop it? it’s nothing major annoying.

not got iphone x, running 11.2 on iphone 6 plus , experience same thing , don't think it's bug.

i've noticed seems happening on emojis i've not used (afaik) in past (or possibly recently). once select skin tone once particular emoji, won't pop-up selector anymore. seems kinda annoying though , backward step apple.
