1- have installed nvidia geforce gtx 765m sager laptop 2011 imac 27. works fine except no boot screen or brightness control (i haven't checked if lightning port supports external monitor).
2- have had lot of success flashing pc video cards work mac pros (ati hd 5770, ati hd 7950, nvidia gtx 680 mainly) geniuses on site , @ netkas.org. conversant general procedure of backing existing bios in windows or dos (using atiflash or nvflash), using terminal patch bios in osx , going windows or dos reflash card patched bios.
3- know apple used both nvidia geforce gtx 755m , nvidia geforce gtx 775m in late 2013 imac 27's.
so... has or can "frankenstein" efi bios 1 or both of 2 apple cards work on aforementioned card? me out and, have read, out @ least few other people. right injustice apple has inflicted on user community (especially 2011 imac 27's , melting ati video cards).

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
