Mac keeps making a noise at me but I don't know why


every often, macbook pro makes little "error" honk noise. can @ time , can't link particular thing i'm doing.

few seconds after wakes, has done minute me watching youtube video.

nothing pops up, nothing seems untoward. there way of finding out why it's doing it?
 

only time have ever gotten sound calendar reminder, birthday or i've put calendar app.

have popped out notifications tab , looked @ lately? (top right of screen, in menu bar)

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
