apple today announced retail stores in burlingame, california, near san mateo, , burlington, massachusetts, near boston, celebrate grand reopenings on saturday, november 18 @ 10:00 a.m. local time.

both locations have been closed several months while undergoing renovations, part of apple's efforts modernize retail stores around world. updated aesthetic typically includes large glass doors, sequoia wood tables , shelves, , large video screen today @ apple programming.

apple burlingame opened in july 2003, while apple burlington has been serving customers since november 2005. apple operates on 250 retail stores across united states, , 500 worldwide.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
