FCC TRYING AGAIN


folks, fcc @ again. chairman pai has once again said going attempt scrap net neutrality rules. don't know, net neutrality set of regulations prevent service providers creating fast , slow lanes on internet. example, internet cable company use apple tv stream content netflix , direct tv now. if net neutrality rules scrapped, cable company slow speeds netflix or direct tv unusable or charge them money of course passed on us. bad idea around , government should not in business of making telecom providers profitable.

if believe in net neutrality suggest writing congressman , or fcc.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
