What iMac/Spec for Adobe Creative Suite 6?


hi everyone

need find best imac in-house design machine using adobe creative suite 6

initial thought new imac pro don't know wether basic or upgraded model.

current machine mac pro 2008, 2x 2.8ghz quad core intel xeon, 8gb ram, 320gb hard drive, 2x 500gb hard drives, 256mb graphics card

going better have now, want last equally long.

thoughts?
 

my personal advice bump gpu vega 64. it's cheapest upgrade can make ($600 vs $800 rest), equally significant rest if use gpu. adobe apps.
if work alright 8 gigs of ram going beyond 32 seems bit meaningless me honestly.
, respect cpu, going 10 cores might make sense if you're willing spend money, wouldn't go further that, since performance/cost ratio decreases move chain.

unless need fast storage, 1tb ssd fine, , storage can suplement external drives

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
