iPhone X gaming problems


got iphone x few days ago , noticed framerate tank in game. go 60 30 after minute. assumed due thermal throttling isn't. narrowed down raising , lowering volume while in iphone x optimized game.

try out on super mario run. start playing , press volume button , framerate cut in half. thing sets off switching youtube app playing video game. iphone x issue or developer issue?

now, out of way, let me add i've observed similar on 7+ reasonably simple game (ticbits' cruel jewels). animations go rough of sudden, no discernible reason. phone doesn't warm during game @ all. stopping game , doing else while fixes it.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
