MBP Late 2016 or MBP Mid-2017?


hi everyone!

many others, fingers getting itchy new macbook pro. torn in between decision of buying 1 of 2 following macbook pro models considerably decent second-hand price.

1. mbp 13” intel core i5-6360u 2000 mhz; 2ghz/16gb ram/512gb ssd - ~1282 usd

or,

2. mbp 13” intel core i5-7360u 2300 mhz; 2.3ghz/16gb ram/256gb ssd - ~1561 usd

using functioning rmbp 15" late 2013 model, 16gb ram/512gb ssd. use mbp master studies, logic x , gaming (wc3 such).

biggest concern storage capacity , if going used having 256gb given fact considerable amount of space used logic x projects. however, not entirely convinced if late-2016 mbp way go when (a) comparing benchmarks current mbp model or (b) slight price difference make use of current mid-2017 model.

think? space bump 512gb more sufficient (late 2016) or overall +20-30% performance boost way go (mid-2017)?

Other Unknown error

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
