MBP mid 2012 and SSD -> which SATA slot


hi!

i'm replace optical drive , install ssd instead.
should move hdd optical bay , put ssd main bay?
both sata3 not matter. read drive on osx installed should in main bay in order make sure hibernate mode works.

i'm hoping tell me not make difference because easier put ssd in optical bay.

help.
 

the reason might leave hard drive in original spot, sudden motion sensor (sms). not support drive might in optical drive location.
ssd not need sms, not mechanical device need quick shutdown spinning hard drive might require, in event drop laptop while power on.
can continue plan install ssd in optical bay. spinning hard drive (in hard drive slot) continue protected sms.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
