Rakuten TV running a racket on iOS?


i sure have heard rumours before travel sites , popular online retailers showing "unique" , unfavourable pricing if accessed via device identifies apple manufactured?

well, seeing in ios rakuten tv app. appears same wife on account , me on mine respectively e.g. films priced £3.45 (sd) on rakuten tv site show within ios app £3.99 (sd), not fluke 1 item, seems consistent. also, if rent film via site when logged account, can access ios app via account bypassing seemingly purposeful attempt gouge ios users.

don't me wrong, pretty impressed rakuten tv service content, quality , flexibility (although shame still don't offer app amazon fire tv stick meaning have airplay iphone tv via 3rd party app on firestick). contacting support , asking them why see price difference , see have say.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
