Using an iPad 3rd Gen. charger to charge an iPhone 6s Plus

common knowledge using ipad 3rd gen. charger charge iphone 6s plus charge iphone faster.

harmful battery? have heard mixed reviews , apple has not endorsed or condemned it, saying iphone , ipad chargers compatible opposite.

able shed light on this?

no these not chargers. power adapters. charger located inside each iphone.

apple states power adapter may safely used.

charging circuit inside iphone decides how current draw power adapter based on charge state of battery. battery goes above 75% current draw reduced until @ 100% trickle charge intermittently drawn.

apple designed if use power adapters , cable can’t mess up. after market power adapters adapters may safe not all. buyer ware.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
