I just installed new battery on my iPhone, am I supposed to drain it all the way down?


so installed new battery on iphone 6 scared going in success. didnt have remove display. showing 0 cycle count , full charge capacity in coconutbattery.

got 1 question should drain battery way down nothing kind of calibration? or charge 100%? it's @ 42 percent out box.

my advice let go through few days of use, , few natural charge cycles. if discover wonky percentage indicator, may worth doing calibration. otherwise, think it’s fine - new phones factory-installed batteries don’t require calibration upon unboxing.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
