Put PowerMac G4 into G3 case?


i have powermac g4 da, recieved in little worse wear condition. 1 of handles shattered in shipment, , entire case dented. , colors of powermac g3 cases, wondering if can switch between them. saw g3 on craigslist on here, , i'll pick if can swap components around. think biggest issue plate io on it, might able 3d print new piece.

think? madman?
 

iirc, plastics aside io panel should swappable between b&w g3 , da g4.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
