Apple Seeds Sixth Beta of iOS 11.2 to Developers and Public Beta Testers

apple today seeded sixth beta of upcoming ios 11.2 update developers, few days after releasing fifth ios 11.2 beta, month after releasing first major ios 11 update, ios 11.1, , 2 weeks after releasing the ios 11.1.2 update.

registered developers can download new ios 11.2 beta apple's developer center or over-the-air once proper configuration profile has been installed developer center. today's beta update may ios 11.2 golden master, suggesting see official release of ios 11.2 soon.

ios 11.2 introduces apple pay cash, apple's new peer-to-peer payments service. apple pay cash works through messages app , designed allow quick person-to-person money transfers. it's available dedicated imessage app in messages, cash transferred through app.

cash can sent linked debit or credit card, while received cash stored in apple pay cash card in wallet can used purchases or sent bank account.

on iphone x, ios 11.2 adds small bar underneath icons located @ upper right side of device on lock screen, designed make location of control center gesture more clear. on iphone x, control center accessed swiping down top of device.

in control center on devices, there two new informational pop-ups displayed when using wi-fi or bluetooth toggles. these pop-ups explain bluetooth , wi-fi disabled temporarily rather permanently when accessed control center.

in addition these bug fixes, ios 11.2 introduces new playing option controlling content on apple tv in control center, dedicated sports section in tv app, redesigned camera emoji, new loading animation live photos effects, , new live wallpapers iphone x, plus adds feature lets developers offer new customers discounted introductory pricing auto-renewable subscriptions on app store.
