icloud windows photo library not syncing


hi,

store iphone photos in icloud photo library, , want sync them automatically windows pc (windows 7). till last month, working, new photos don't sync pc anymore. can view photos on icloud.com, number of files in icloud photo folder stays same, last picture being november. icloudphotos.exe process working, though, taking cpu time, , reading/writing local database (client.db-wal).

ideas?

check settings on phone, sync settings. think default sync when connected wifi , charging.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
