iPhone X landscape mode in car problems


ok. did test iphone x driving in car , tried using 6s plus. put phone in windshield mount.

found when using maps 6s plus phone automatically detect being in landscape mode , rotate. doesn’t seem working on x. else find this? i’m guessing face id doesn’t work on landscape mode?! wondering how can fixed. if phone locks while in landscape mode you’re screwed?! hope don’t need use phone in portrait mode on. suck !
 

faceid works in portrait mode, punch id open in landscape, set auto lock 5 minutes.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
