iPhone X not entirely 'flat' near (bottom) edge?


hi,

small thing noticed... have reachability enabled on iphone x. such, swipe down quite lot near bottom edge of screen.

doing so, noticed there ever slight 'edge' of glass panel, minute seems there. easier feel looking closely, can see it.

on inspection, seems both glass panels on phone have raised edge around full perimeter. not rubber gasket lining screen or transition between screen , frame, glass itself. effort prevent scratches?

present on other devices or have poorly manufactured panels?
 

mine has moderate gap, can slide in piece of paper , goes 2mm in

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
