Resolved How to get music off old iPad for free


hi,

wanted share had found.

background: have old ipod classic quite lot of music on had been collecting dust last couple of years. don't have original music files anymore (transfers old cds) , had been looking through forum method of getting music off can add them overall library. couldn't find (and free) alternative in forum came across neat little freeware called podtrans. used mac version of , neatly copied mp3 files off old ipod happy , thought i'd share this, sure not on in situation.
crystal clear: not in anyway associated makers of app nor posting this. thought i'd share other people because happy found solution :)

ups: title should read ipod, not ipad of course :rolleyes:

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
