iPhone x LG display in the near future?

stumbled upon report across few websites today.

have iphone x, , display wonderful (as samsung mobile displays). wife has (and loves) pixel xl 2...but lg made display can't match samsung made display on iphone x (or note 8, etc).

possible lg has somehow caught samsung, since release of pixel xl 2? took samsung years displays current level of quality.

know speculative, assuming happened, logically there disparities between displays, in shape or form. imagine intel vs qualcomm modem ordeal, or tsmc vs samsung chip issues had while back.

regarding above issues, never cared. life complicated worry minute difference, display more noticeable user.

thoughts?
 

i wouldn't worry much. apple wouldn't select provider or use displays didn't meet requirements. remember apple investing in lg maybe next years oled displays.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
