The Pro’s curse my iPX


macbook pro: when brought me home in 2016 said loved me more computer had ever owned. gently raised lid first thing every morning , checked email , twitter feed. checked nyt , wapo latest news. now, lie closed , unused of day. charged , ready go, neglect me. feel lonely , unloved. curse iphone x!

ipad pro: know never first choice daily computing activities, did use me quick check of email or face book. have been seduced away face id , beautiful little screen. cpu , gpu idle , never charge battery. i’m sad. curses! curse iphone x!

iphone x: sorry fellows, has changed. there new sheriff in town.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
