user account issues

somehow messed user accounts macbook air. have 2 different users accounts, both of them standard, , no administrator account. want delete 1 , change other administrator account. also, reason, password not being accepted either account, , time machine restore not working!

 

you have lost admin access system. happens after upgrading system.
result don't have admin rights. have use admin rights admin rights back.
well, how 1 that? becomes circular path nowhere....

so, easy path re-enable system account setup assistant (that tool runs when first set new mac.)
if can run, can make new account, is, default, admin account.
boot new account, allow change each still existing accounts, or one, admin user. log out, taking login screen. log in normal user account, delete new account created, if want that. and, in "admin" account business.
