i run geekbench on 2017 imac , cpu scores seem lower should be. ran test linked below, reflects average single , multicore scores imac gets.

clear, of right minor / non-issue since imac performing fine. i'll working on relatively light 4k video editing projects work month, , we'll see how goes. it's annoying seeing other imacs exact same configuration getting scores this, when i've received multicore score above 18k 1 time.
set imac macbook pro time machine backup, , i'm wondering if possibly impacting cpu performance? reset pram & smc.
the scores can affected background processes may not realise running, ambient temperature in room affecting cooling , few other factors beyond control.
benchmark scores trap easy fall — try not worry it, , concerned if limiting ability need do.
