Iphone 6 "No Service Issue"


hello,

not technical problem. have iphone 6, when updated ios 11, phone lost signal , begin showing "no service". after resetting iphone, again got signals time again lost them. software glitch, think. if hardware problem phone should not picked signals after hard reset well.

numbers of users facing problems, have leads? may due carrier settings.
 

i'd try go local carrier , sim card?

have tried going under cellular settings , instead of automatic have search, select carrier using?

might hardware though, i've seen updates mess modems.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
