Pokemon Go Issues with iPhone X


both wife , have had iphone x since 11/3 , play pokemon go regularly. we've both noticed game freezing / locking up. there period yesterday happened 4 times in 20 minutes wife , 3 times in same period me.

our avatars stop moving though we've changed locations , it's happened when sitting on couch. screen becomes unresponsive. not every time, occasionally, we're getting gps signal error messages. wife on 11.1 , upgraded 11.1.1 , it's still happening. didn't have issues iphone 7 or 7+ each of had before got x. else experiencing this? happening on iphones other x?
 

if using phone's "low power mode", cause of gps issue.
said fixed in betas of upcoming ios 11.2 though.

other that, have not seen issues using pokémon go on iphone x.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
