Windows boot camp fails - please help

hi all

had functioning mac sierra os windows 10 home bootcamp. unfortunately went wrong during update in windows (not sure updating) , windows won't boot up.

find way fix without reinstalling windows if possible. think need find way "advanced start options windows" can recover earlier point in time cannot work out how bring menu up.

can toggle between windows , mac os on start holding option key on restart. mac os runs perfectly. if chose windows 4 squares windows logo timer underneath (per attached pic), after 10 seconds or moved blank screen timer(see attached pic), , after several minutes whole thing restarts , cycle repeats.

i'm hoping there combination of keys can hold bring windows advanced options menu. have experimented holding down f2 , f8 on restart doesn't seem anything. thing seem able hold down option on start choice of whether try starting in windows or mac os.

i'm bit of novice , simple advice appreciated. many thanks, peter

 

i had issue , panicked.
in time didn’t keep track of did.
believe while windows booting pressed , held power button until computer turned off.
booted in mac , shutdown.
booted windows , waited. bit.
fine date
