a drive bay with the "Sleep" function


i have owc mercury elite pro drive bay , although happy it, there 1 feature surely missing. ability go sleep mode when mac switched off. yup, missing feature because can turning off, manually, using on/off button in rear. seems outdated drive bay, not having smart feature.
know of drive bay has feature?
 

what connectivity computer need? how many bays?

have 4-bay probox connected mini shuts down when mini shut off, , power button on front.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
