Considering the current Macbook Pro

i have 15 inch 2013 rmbp. got free logic board replacement due repeated sleep of deaths (thanks apple!). took working, macos disk utility not transcend jetdrive, it's , running again.

unfortunately, battery right @ 80% health , i'm having trouble e key missing , past few days, d key starting go. have desktop setup it, use external keyboard, although subject ritual power management tantrums regarding external monitors. can dance around issue, , battery life annoying, not crippling. jetdrive pain in ass when need install os, it's fine now. laptop, keyboard maddening. hoping wait fall might have sooner i'd like.

played current macbooks @ apple store today. first 1 tried had busted x key. couldn't register no matter what. didn't inspire confidence. second 1 tried worked fine. hated feel of keys though. type hard. every keyboard use has endure out assault. these keys horrible. limited travel makes them feel fighting when type. it's painful typing on ipad pro keyboard. that's big mark against it. still, apple isn't bring keyboards , short of getting surface pro or book (with ****** wifi , os) i'm going have adapt.

tried touchbar , honestly, it. don't use top row , see more attention me physical touch keys.

read touchpad has annoying tendency bow or bend rather behave 1 solid flat piece. didn't have issue on display units, nor did chassis seem flex in way.

know credo buy when need , right now, need-ish. i've heard gpus disappointing, surely improvement on 650m, aren't they? know i'll need adaptors it's transitional thing, that. current macbook pros terrible?

of consideration insurance covers machine , reburse me value when purchased if it's deemed expensive fix. know can fixed new upper assembly, that's not cheap either.

 

if there's way possible, hold out until 2018.

many keyboard problems. on 2017 mbpro's on 2016's.

sense "keygate™" (i take credit name) going worse apple time goes by.
