iPhone X GPS issues


i had launch day iphone x exchanged today due issues gps tracking. having tried using both apple maps , google maps, phone struggles tracking me on map.

appears sluggish , slow reach changes in direction (compass correct though); replacement exhibits exact same issue- hoping can fixed through software update iphones far have had rock solid gps.

here thread on apple's support community on issue: seems not limited x 8/8+.

are saying replacement phone has issues? iphone x has rather 'jumpy' gps - blue dot either bounces or moves around few seconds before settling down - in correct place few houses away. seems ok waze, though.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
