hi, strange problem occured me. helped friend installing ssd samsung evo 850 in mac pro 1,1 on 5th ("hidden") sata port. not first time that. worked well. installed new os , manually transferred files old hdd. got premission problems, showed him how resolve via cmd+i, - read , write, apply etc. left, lives in paris, there week, , live in bulgaria. .... next day calls me saying mac stuck on apple logo screen, trying boot ssd hangs there. after several tests, none of 3 hard disks has boot (he had 1 disk snow leopard , 1 other tiger)... worked fine week ago. try know, know lot, , nothing happens. external disks, mac stay @ grey screen loading eternally os. .... decide find new mac pro 1,1 , gets new one. installs ssd on 5th port, mac pro used have ssd on port working perfectly... mac go apple screen , hang there trying boot. old one. same other disks... .... told me before first (his own) mac loses ability boot, had strange problem permi...
